How to Identify Your Personal Strengths
Turn broad character descriptions into specific examples of strengths.
Look for repeated actions
Start with three moments when you helped a task move forward. Perhaps you organized confusing information, listened carefully or suggested an alternative. Describe what you did using a verb instead of a broad label such as talented.
Ask for an example
Ask someone you trust when they have seen you at your best. A specific story is more useful than general praise. Compare that story with your own examples and look for a skill that appears more than once.
Choose a small application
Pick one strength and use it deliberately this week. If you clarify ideas well, summarize a meeting. If you enjoy organizing, create a simple checklist. A quiz can suggest a starting point, but actual actions provide the evidence.
